Commercial Plumbing Superintendent
We are looking for a Superintendent to join our Commercial Plumbing team. Just as a Foreman, the Superintendent has all the technical expertise required to do the job but is responsible for a bigger scope of work and provides manpower visibility for the Project Manager. The ideal candidate is someone who already has experience of being Superintendent or Foreman and has the desire and skills to contribute to the overall management and development of the organization on a higher level.
The Superintendent will align and dispatch crews, conduct their training and recruit field talent. Calculate ROI for large tool purchases. Communicate clearly and concisely with company customers and vendors. Supervise and mentor other superintendents, conduct annual performance review for all the Foremen and Construction Field Workers.
Required qualifications:
- Must pass drug and background screens
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Minimum 3 years in supervisory role in Commercial Plumbing
- Proficient understanding of refrigerant, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, troubleshooting and installation of all commercial HVAC systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with staff concerning operations, policies, work rules, assignments, scheduling changes/practices and other areas relevant to operations
- Exceptional safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings
- Excellent computer skills (proficiency with MS Office)
- Ability to train and supervise others
